Sarah has worked within the housing, social care, and charity sector for over 20 years, supporting and enabling many vulnerable people to manage successful tenancies, through effective partnership working with Tenants/Service Users, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Private Landlords, and statutory/non-statutory agencies.
Sarah has most recently worked as part of a national contract, managing and supporting a large diverse team of staff, to ensure the provision of safe and secure accommodation for vulnerable Service Users, alongside supporting and empowering the Service Users to move onto forever homes.
Sarah is an enthusiastic, innovative, and hardworking individual who has the ability to think outside of the box when finding solutions and solving problems. Sarah is firm but fair and has a lead by example approach to life.
Sarah thrives on seeing people overcome life's barriers to succeed, especially when attaining a safe and secure home for themselves and their families, which Sarah truly believes is one of the key foundations of life.
Sarah lives in Yorkshire with her husband; both daughters have grown up and have their own homes but remain very close. Sarah tends to support others in her personnel life, but when she does have time to herself, she likes to spend it with her granddaughter and friends. Sarah also likes to embrace other cultures by traveling the world.
Sarah is proud to be part of the One CIC team and is looking forward to supporting it to grow and develop over the coming months and years.
